Another bay bites the dust!

Knocking out this sexy SI, has been really joyful. The SI will be simply amazing when finished. This car will be apart of a "brother and brother" 1, 2 punch that will leave everyone dumbfounded. Paint and motor pics SOON!

Product Review! POR15

Some might remember my integra that has since been turned into a Track car to have fun with. Heres a pic from the past.








So.... I've been thinking about what I should do with the CSD track GSR. I want something with less "bling" then its past purple color. Also I want something that is real strong (chips, stains, solvents, ect.) I decided to try out POR 15 (silver).

This stuff


I spray a lot of water borne paint products which require a 1.3/1.4 gun. POR 15 is as thick as mud and should be sprayed with a 2.0 or larger gun.(which I don't own)
I decided to apply the coating with a thin two inch brush and foam brushes. (what a mistake that was). Applying the first coat went well,it looked great. While I was waiting for it to dry I decided to take a trip to my buddy kens shop (KENCO) for some b. b. Q! Came back and the POR15 LOOKED LIKE SHIT!. It did not dry smooth and had a shit load of runs. ( DAMN IT!!!). I started sanding it with 400. Maybe tomorrow ill smooth it out and give it another coat. So far I give this stuff a 4 out of 10. Its great for suspension parts or areas of high rust. For flat "shaved" areas it sucks. Full review once finished.

My friend from school has been working on his civic for about a year now. The work he's been putting into this thing is crazy. The week he towed his car into the shop my jaw dropped. The amount of work needed to be done looked very overwhelming. With that being said, the car is going to be superb. I was honored for him to allow me to spray the base on it this morning. I ordered a bunch of Corey Shaw Development stickers from Brandon at jdm decals not to long ago. I've never really made a custom "decal" before. Brandon helped me come up with a great design and also made me the picture you see at the top of this blog. The decals were shipped out super fast and look great. Hanging out @ ctr dyno sports

I stopped by Ctr Dyno Sports to see what was going on. Chad was putting in long hours like always, trying to get his integra ready for a show the next day. Froto came to detail the teg with our friend Pelican. Froto is a detailing icon!
